On June 12, 2018, the First China Famous Family Service Enterprises Reform and Innovation Observation Meeting sponsored by Family Service Magazine was successfully held in Beijing. The theme of the conference was "Reform and Innovation of China's Family Service Industry". This time, we visited five family service enterprises, including Beijing Fuping School.
As one of the five observing units, Beijing Fuping School has been established in 2002, aiming at providing safe, professional and secure domestic service for urban residents as well as decent employment opportunities for poor women in the central and western regions. Beijing Fuping Home Economics School’s trial of professional service gets more and more recognition of government departments and social institutions recognized.
Business representatives led by staffs have visited the school's classrooms, dormitories, offices, and then into the practice class classroom observed the cooking, baby-rearing and other practical exercises closely. The delegates highly appraised and recognized the campus environment and practical training courses, saying that Fuping School have important reference significance for the domestic home economics industry. At the end of the trip, delegates attended the wrap-up meeting and listened to Fuping School’s business philosophy delivered by Zupei Chen and Xiaoqing Chen, learned about the teaching model and innovative measures.

Zupei Chen, Principal of Fuping School, introduced the mission of Fu Ping School and what he has done in the past 15 years. "We started the Home Economics School to let the housekeepers know that they didn't just come to Beijing to do the laundry and cook, they can also improve themselves and find the other side of themselves," he said.
Speaking of the future development of the enterprise, Xiaoqing Chen, Executive Director, said, "We do not seek to become the most successful enterprise in the world, but to become the most beneficial enterprise in the world." The pre-job vocational training of domestic workers solve the employment problem temporarily. In the process of urbanization, the universal problems are the insufficient accumulation formerly and the slow development latterly, which make them meet with great obstacles. Therefore, Fuping School began to explore the life-long online education of low-threshold service industry employees in 2015. Online courses currently include not only vocational skills, but also guidance on their professional values, outlook on life and public norm awareness, so as to do a good job in the life-long learning of this group from the perspective of long-term accompany and growth.
Shufang Yang, director of the Academic Affairs Office, introduced the school's current training mode and the teaching experience gained over the years: "Our teaching methods should be suitable for the learning object and the content accord to the market demand, so as to achieve the maximum effect in the short-term training."
Ming Liu, a baby-sitter phase 88, told her experience and feelings as a domestic worker. "My wife's salary is 16,800 a month, but I will continue to work hard to improve my wages," she said, “I have to thank Fuping housekeeping, which provide me a platform, let my life become wonderful. Although I do not have a high diploma, I have professional skills. I will work harder to do my job and provide satisfying service for customers.
Among the 600,000 family service enterprises in China, Beijing's family service enterprise do a good job in creativity.
